II Corinthians 5:20 "Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us; we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God."
The church was birthed through many prayers and much fasting. In 2004, with a burning desire to please God, Pastor Yvette DeVine went to the altar at church every single day for nine months to give birth to the church. The Church creed for the AFCCCCM is based upon: II Corinthians 5:17-20.
The first church services were held on March 20, 2005 in the home of Elder DeVine and Pastor DeVine. Through May 22, 2005, Elder and Pastor DeVine continued to have services in their home. On May 29, 2005 they rented a room at the DeSoto Civic Center where services were held until October 2005.
In October 2005 we were blessed to use the facilities of The Berea Church, Inc. (Pastor British U. Tharpe and First Lady Ella Tharpe) located at 1220 Cedardale Rd, Lancaster, TX where we remained until April 2009. God blessed us to move into our own place of worship in our first building located at 106 Sierra Grande St, Red Oak, TX 75154 where we currently worship God and fellowship today.
During the next two years, AFCCCCM persevered through some challenges and membership didn’t grow much; but spiritually we began to mature and grow closer to that “Spirit of perfection” that God expects from all of His children. In July 2007, AFCCCCM was blessed to have Bishop Eric D Morrison, Kingdom Word Ministries—Kansas City, MO come into our lives and speak prophetic words like never before in our lives. From that relationship the first “Gathering” was birthed and Bishop Eric D Morrison along with Kingdom Word Ministries and New Vision Worldwide Fellowship Ministries—Memorial Missionary Baptist Church—Apostle Larry B. Aiken and Pastor Olivia Aiken—Kansas City, MO became our covering for prayer, prophesy, leadership, and guidance from the Holy Ghost. Bishop Morrison has returned to AFCCCCM yearly since 2007 to bless us with a prophetic word from God that keeps us accountable, responsible, and holy for the rest of our lives on earth!
In April 2009, AFCCCCM moved into our own building at 106 Sierra Grande, Red Oak, TX 75154. In August 2009, AFCCCCM was legally incorporated by the State of Texas; and in February 2010 AFCCCCM became 501c3 Certified; with the help of our loyal and trusted friend Pastor Kevin Taylor of Harvest of Praise—Glen Heights, TX.
We have seen miracles and wonders worked through the anointing of God in this ministry. There are many great testimonies that can be spoken about the mighty works of God in this church family! We are all grateful for the mighty move of God! We thank God for Pastor DeVine, for her desire, and obedience to please God and give birth to us, The Ambassadors for Christ Cross-Cultural Church Ministries, Inc.
